About the Role
As a Backend Developer Intern at NewGen, you will support the development of APIs, databases, integrations, and backend systems that power client websites and business tools. You will learn through real tasks while working with developers on practical production workflows.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in building and maintaining APIs, database structures, and backend services.
- Support integrations between frontend applications, CMS platforms, and third-party tools.
- Write clear, reliable code while following project conventions and team guidance.
- Help test, debug, and document backend behavior for internal and client-facing systems.
What We’re Looking For :
- Basic understanding of backend development, databases, APIs, and server-side logic.
- Willingness to learn production workflows and improve through feedback.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, TypeScript, PHP, Node.js, or similar backend technologies is helpful.
- Able to communicate clearly and work carefully with technical details.
